Bardstown City Schools will be testing our new automated lockdown system on Thursday, October 5th. The testing will include an automated lockdown announcement that will broadcast on the indoor and outdoor speakers of each building. Please do not be alarmed by this testing- it is a necessary part of our migration to this new system. You may hear this announcement more than once during the testing period.
Below is the day and time frame during which you may hear a lockdown announcement at BCS campuses. The announcement will consist of an automated voice announcing, “Attention students and staff. Lockdown immediately. Clear the hallways, enter the nearest room, and lock the door.”

- Bardstown Early Childhood Center
- Bardstown Primary School
- Bardstown Elementary School
- Bardstown Middle School
- Bardstown High School
- Bardstown Alternative School
