Arrival Procedure for Car Riders
BMS doors open for car rider drop off beginning at 7:45am. Car riders should be dropped off at the front entrance to the Middle School. From there they will be guided to the cafeteria entrance where they may choose to eat breakfast. At 8:00am, homeroom classes will be opened to students. Breakfast will be served until 8:30am. Students choosing to eat breakfast must eat breakfast prior to reporting to homeroom. Students need to be at school by 8:35am.
Dismissal Procedure for Car Riders
Dismissal time is 3:25 for Bardstown Middle School. The parking lots in front of Bardstown Middle School and to the right of Bardstown High School will be closed to all incoming traffic from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Any non-student car in the parking lot at 3:00 p.m. will be required to exit OR park in a properly marked parking space. This is because all afternoon buses will enter and exit through this parking lot between the times of 3:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Cars arriving to pick up Bardstown Middle School and Bardstown High School students must enter using Tiger Alley located between the high school gym and the Bardstown City Schools Board of Education. Cars may park in multiple parking lots designated on the attached map.
Bardstown High students who are car riders are required to wait in a designated location on the porch of the Bardstown High School gym nearest Tiger Alley, where they can easily recognize their ride as it enters the parking lot.
Bardstown Middle students who are car riders are required to wait in a designated location on the porch of the old Bardstown Elementary School, where they can easily recognize their ride as it enters the parking lot.
